Deidra Moss "Dee" Mitchell is one of the main characters on the UPN series Moesha. She was portrayed by Sheryl Lee Ralph.

The beautiful, glamorous Deidra Moss 'Dee' Mitchell was a teacher at her step-daughter, Moesha's school, Crenshaw High School. She became the faculty advisor for the school newspaper "Cry of the Cougar" and was later promoted to vice-principal. Even though Moesha didn't see eye to eye with her new stepmom, they had a close relationship.
Later on in the series, Dee was offered a full-time education position in Jamaica, but she later returned for Dorian's high school graduation.
The series was revamped and Dee was eventually phased out of the series for season 6 but she would appear as a recurring character in season 6. Dee returned back to the series from Jamaica for Dorian's high school graduation.
